Attorney Mario A. Medina has a wide range of legal experience in the areas of criminal prosecution and defense, employment and union-side labor law, domestic relations matters including divorces and custody cases, general civil litigation, and real estate issues. Mario has practiced in Georgia and Pennsylvania. He has been licensed to practice in Pennsylvania since 2016. Mario has extensive courtroom experience and is an aggressive advocate for his clients. 

Mario has lived in Buffalo, NY; San Antonio, TX; Columbus, OH; Atlanta, GA and Savannah, GA, but spent most of his life in Erie, Pennsylvania. Until his passing in 2021, Mario’s father was a Latino advocate in Erie and familiar to many Spanish-speakers as the host of a weekly radio program on WERG (Gannon University). Mario’s mother, an Erie native and graduate of both McDowell High School and Gannon, is a retired educator who spent over 20 years teaching in the Millcreek School District. Before law school at The Ohio State University, Mario worked as an organizer and business representative for the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1996 based in Atlanta, Georgia. Mario is currently the only known Spanish bilingual attorney in Erie.

Mario enjoys spending time with his family. He is a lifelong music-lover, drummer, and is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Erie community.
